Czech crown firming to both main world currencies

The crown got inspiration for growth mainly in the region, Patria Finance analyst Tomas Vlk said. Negative influences from the region made the crown weaken in the morning but later today the development was opposite.

"The March series of Czech economic statistics can be assessed positively but the figures have not influenced the crown. The dominant factor was the region," Vlk said.

A significant influence also came from the agency Moody´s warning that the Czech Republic´s rating might be endangered unless the negative trend in public finances changed after elections, Vlk said.
